Anyone who has a decent understanding of bed bugs and their behavior knows that they do not just happen in your home or business. They are transported from another place - every time. And it doesn't matter which cities you've been to - Columbus OHSan Francisco CA, Birmingham AL, or wherever - you can pick them up anywhere. One of the more common modes of transportation for a bedbug is to just hide out in your clothing and/or bedding. It's easy, convenient and free transportation. If that happens, you will need to deal with the problem from a few different angles:

  • Wash and dry ALL affected clothing and bedding. Though the washing and drying process will kill off most of the bed bugs, we recommend the use of our Bed Bug 911 Exterminator Laundry Treatment additive. It's not expensive, non-toxic and 100% green. It's also all natural, scent free, stain free, delicate and non-irritating to humans. You can use it with all washable fabrics - cold or hot water.
  • Get good quality mattress protectors and protect your mattress, box springs and pillows. Our mattress covers are high quality and will offer protection and peace of mind for years to come.
  • Place bedbug traps (also known as monitoring stations) under your bed and where ever your luggage is stored to keep an eye on the problem.

All of the above mentioned would be - and should be - included in any bed bug prevention plan.
